TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 4/14: This low has progressed across the area about as expected with the snow line overnight finding the valley floors to the north and south. This tail end is currently lifting through on more of an upslope pattern and will offer wrap around moisture for areas to the north while we slowly dry out. Expect spotty sun mixing with snow showers early with a mix into the afternoon and some remnants possible into this evening. Plan on a sloppy mix for travel that could turn slick tonight.
Temperatures: Lows dropped to 30 for CB and 32 for Gunni. Highs will climb back to 40 for CB and 48 for Gunni. Lows tonight will be cold with clearer skies likely straddling 20.
Outlook: Wednesday and Thursday will offer a gap between the line up of lows with mostly sunny skies. Clouds will build back in Thursday night and we are looking at another colder system that will threaten snow and even colder temperatures. Lows Friday night could hit the single digits so protect fragile plants and send some warm thoughts to the orchards to the west.
