More scattered but thunder cells still in the forecast.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For Today- 5/21: Another blue sky morning will hold for a bit but the high clouds creeping in from the southwest hints at another round of convective build up for the early afternoon. Thunder cells will be more scattered today but a slight increase in highs will help make up for the decreased moisture. These remain scattered so just be prepared through late afternoon with another colder clear night on tap.

Temperatures: Overnight lows dropped to 25 for Crested Butte but held to 31 for Gunnison. Highs will rebound a couple degrees over yesterday to 67 for Gunni and 59 for CB. Lows tonight will look about the same.

Outlook: Temperatures continue a consistent slow climb this week and Tuesday will be a little more active with the closed low over Utah breaking up and sending more fuel for afternoon thundershowers our way. Look for a mostly sunny morning with a more active afternoon and potentially stronger cells. We will see another threat through Wednesday but dwindling moisture will mean widely scattered cells and high pressure will be back on us by Thursday drying the pacific flow.
