Pieces parts coming together.

TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For Today- 1/20: We are into the wind up as the different components start to come together. The cold front is in Utah and will drop southeast into CO through the day while the moisture stream lifts northwest across the area. Look for spotty sunshine and milder temperatures to start giving way to snow showers and then snow. The best chance at accumulation will come this evening into Sunday morning with 3-6 for CB and 2-4 for Gunni. Be prepared for sloppy travel as wet roads freeze.

Temperatures: Milder southern air kept lows mild with all elevations at 9 this morning. Highs will pop early to 34 for CB and 39 for Gunni before cooling this afternoon. Lows tonight will be in the mid to low teens with heavy snow possible tonight.

Outlook: The brunt of this storm moves through tonight with dynamics driven squally surges. Expect sloppy travel through Sunday morning. This will be another right side up storm with heavier wetter snow to start with light snow on top. Skies will clear through Sunday with lingering showers on the higher terrain. Waves are stacking in the west but models have yet to agree on the outcome so stay tuned.
