The FJWC, that’s the Freeride Junior World Championships, went down earlier this morning in Kappl, Austria. The local junior freeride scene was represented by CBMST athletes Jon Clay Patterson, Carson Hildebrandt, and Dagan Schwartz. After all was said and done, Dagan Schwartz took 3rd in a field of 13 Snowboard Men (run at 1:05:50 first video below), Jon Clay Patterson took 11th in Ski Men (56:28 second video), and Carson Hildebrandt took 16th (1:15:57 second video) in Ski Men out of 29 athletes. It’s awesome these athletes got to represent Crested Butte, the IFSA, and USA at the Freeride Junior World Championships!!
