4/22: A mostly sunny mix.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update-  For 4/22:  The zonal west to east flow has formed about as expected and regional satellite imagery shows the southern edge of the northern split rubbing up against the divide this morning. It is enough to offer intermittent cloud cover but there shouldn’t be any moisture and gusting winds will build through the day keeping everything moving quickly.
Temperatures: Lows dropped to just 22 for Crested Butte and 24 for Gunnison. Highs will reach 64 for Gunni and 58 for CB. Lows tonight will look the same.
Outlook: The west to east flow slowly pivots to the southwest through the middle of the week as a trough drops in on the familiar northwestern pattern. This will mean a pop in temperatures with beautiful conditions through Wednesday but by Thursday we start to see the familiar evolution with moisture moving in overnight. A mix of showery conditions with snow overnight and a mix during the days will be on us into the weekend. Plan on gusting winds but sunny skies through Thursday and get outside.
