4/23: A balmy start.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 4/23: The pattern has dropped to the southwest enough to push that line of moisture just a bit further north this morning and clear of the area while drawing in even milder air. Balmy overnight lows will give us a head start towards another warm mostly sunny day with gusting winds and some scattered clouds into the afternoon.
Temperatures: Overnight lows stayed warm at 32 for Crested Butte and 37 for Gunnison. Highs will hit 61 for CB and 67 for Gunni. Lows tonight will be similar but slightly cooler.
Outlook: This next trough dropping down the west coast starts heading our way and will produce wetter conditions by Thursday but until then it remains sunny and warm. This prefrontal surge from the southwest will keep temperatures well above normal with gusting winds through Wednesday teeing up a transition for Thursday. A sunny start will give way to showers by the afternoon with an unimpressive mix of conditions through Friday but then more consistent moisture by the weekend.
