10/16-19: Cool and clear.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 10/16-19: This latest closed low’s center is traversing the area and we are into the drier base with the flow pivoting back around to the northwest as the eastern edge moves in. This will bring back sunny skies through the end of the week and into the weekend but also with cooler air and gusting winds through at least Saturday. We will see daytime highs gaining a degree or two on a slow wind up into Saturday with overnight lows below freezing valley wide so keep the layers handy. The pattern will pivot from the northwest back to the west by Sunday drawing in milder air with a short window taking us into the new week. This will likely tee up a fresh round of pacific moisture by Tuesday but we will be keeping an eye on this as it develops. Take advantage of a solid string of clearer skies into the weekend but be prepared for the cold overnight lows and plan accordingly.
