5/1: A few remnants but more sun.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 5/1: Hello May. Our pattern looks a lot like it did yesterday morning but without the big pocket of moisture that started through midmorning. Today should stay mostly sunny early with spotty cloud cover by noon turning cloudier still into the afternoon with very isolated thunder storms and dry windy cells blowing through. Be prepared for changes as the day progresses.
Temperatures: Lows dropped to 21 again for CB and 30 for Gunni. Highs today will look like yesterday at 53 for Gunni and 46 for CB. Lows tonight will be similar for CB and 27 for Gunni with clearer skies.
Outlook: This Western high continues to build in through Friday morning with temperatures on the significant rebound and mostly sunny skies holding until the afternoon. We will see some convective buildup thanks to the much warmer daytime highs but any storms will be very hit or miss so just stay prepared. The high holds into Sunday afternoon but by Sunday night we see more moisture pushing in from the northwest that will move this out to the east and serve up more active conditions through Monday and Tuesday.
