5/2: Between waves.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 5/2: The cold front that blew through yesterday has left us with clearer skies this morning but also cooler temperatures: Look for some scattered high clouds early with a little convective build up this afternoon but mostly sunny conditions will dominate. Expect breezy conditions into the afternoon but an overall beautiful day.
Temperatures: Overnight lows split the valley with Gunnison at 30 and 22 for Crested Butte. Highs will hold to 49 for CB and 57 for Gunni. Lows tonight will be back to the 20s valley wide.
Outlook: We continue to sit on the southern edge of the jet with moisture pushing through on the CO and WY boarder. We will see gusting winds but dry conditions through Saturday morning but a more pronounced trough and cold front dip further south starting Saturday night with a dirty mix that will allow for spotty sun but also scattered rain and snow showers through Monday. Temperatures will be warm through Sunday but then cool for Monday so results from any moisture will be minimal but also hard to predict.
