3/8: Back in the high pressure.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 3/8: We are continuing to see some remnants from this northern flow in the form of high clouds dropping in from the northwest but skies will be mostly sunny all day. These will fully pass with little impact to daytime highs as we pop by a few degrees so have layers for an early start but it will be warm and sunny.
Temperatures: Lows dropped with the clear skies in CB to 6 and 14 for Gunni. Highs will gain on yesterday to 40 for CB and 47 for Gunni. Lows tonight will bump up a degree or two.
Outlook: The cut off low that pinched off the latest trough has set up over SoCal and will slowly move back through to our south this week but with little effect. A big high off the west coast will be the dominant weather feature for the week with the passing low offering some scattered clouds and a faster pop in temperatures through Tuesday. Gusting winds will allow for a brief seesaw in temperatures but these will be hardly noticeable in the big picture with clear skies and mild temperatures the trend through the week.
