When I got the call from Ed Carley to go ride Doctors Park this past weekend, I was a bit caught off guard. I have been slowly transitioning into a winter mindset, more due to the calendar than the weather outside.
Not only was the weather still perfect for one of my favorite rides but the trail was completely dry (with the exception of a few thin snow patches on the last part of the climb through the woods). We rode the entire loop from North Bank campground and it may as well have been mid-June. Bottom line is, snow and wintery mix is in the forecast for next weekend. So get out and ride (or hike) your favorite trail this week while you can still enjoy this amazing indian summer ….. and soon we’ll ski POW! Life is good
