Here’s a short 3 minute clip discussing the memorable crash at the 2006 Birds of Prey Downhill at Beaver Creek. TJ Lanning was an up-and-coming US star at the time, trying to make up for past injuries, he hit a compression awkwardly and well, you should just watch this crash. Thank goodness for the fencing.
Although it is freezing and wet experience, winter fly fishing can be incredible. Check out this video from Michael Tatro, who scored on a cold day on the Taylor River.

Speedriding is a dangerous and amazing sport that is picking up momemtum, as evidenced by the new trailer from Red Bull for “Unrideables: The Alaska Range”. This documentary looks ballistic. Here’s the blurb from the YouTube clip: “Speedriding is a high-speed, high stakes mountain sport that fuses elements of skiing and parachute flight. This hybrid approach […]
This episode of Salomon Freeski TV is a short excerpt from the upcoming documentary by Mike Douglas called “The Snowman.” It looks at the tough, fun, scary job held by avalanche consultant, Kevin Fogolin. Take a look as this guy skis pow and blows up huge cornices and slabs from a helicopter. We can’t wait […]
