Alright friends, we have a lot of local support to give out this weekend. The Crested Butte Avalanche Center is holding it’s 12th Annual Avalanche Awareness Night at the Lodge at Mountaineer Square on Saturday, December 6th, at 6 PM. This is the biggest fundraising event of the year for the CBAC, and the CBAC offers the most important FREE service to this valley, so we have to get out and support!

Join the Crested Butte Avalanche Center on December 6th, 2014 for the 12th Annual Avalanche Awareness Night at Mountaineer Square in Mt. Crested Butte.
Avalanche Awareness Night is the biggest fundraiser of the year for your local avalanche center. There will be avalanche education topics covered by the CBAC forecasters, beer, pizza and a blistering raffle.
The Beacon Brush Up will occur the following day, December 7th, at Town Park from 11-3 and more raffles/food/beer at the Alpineer following. The Beacon Brush Up will have a beacon park where you can get advice from pros, and then you can get your air bag canister refilled at the Alpineer while you down a tasty beverage. See you out there!
