The 2012 US Pro Cycling Challenge is set to takeover the mountains of Colorado in 7 stages, August 20-26. We knew the host cities, now we know the specifics of the race. Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte will host the finish of Stage 2. Gunnison will host the start of Stage 3. Where are you going to watch?
First, we have the Mt. Crested Butte finish video from last year’s Stage 1. The sprint through Crested Butte and the uphill finish in Mt. Crested Butte (skip to 6:00 for the mountain) are really awesome examples of how Crested Butte throws down for sporting events and supports athletes. Following that we have the stage maps and elevation profiles for the 2012 USA Pro Cycling Challenge. Click for the full images.
