Hey Gunnison Valley! We have 2 amazing women representing our little part of Colorado on the Freeride World Tour this year. Frequent visitors to our site are no strangers to Francesca Pavillard-Cain and Mary Boddington’s recent exploits and successes in the big mountain freeride arena.
This Friday at Butte 66 at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, the ladies are holding a fundraiser to help with their travel expenses, etc, on tour. There is going to be live music, drink specials, and a raffle with tons of prizes and gift certificates. They have been helped out by local companies like the Secret Stash, the Power Stop, CBMR, The Talk of the Town, Bonez, the Hammer, and larger companies like Giro, Neversummer, and Rossignol. If you are missing that last piece of gear for the season their are pretty good odds you might win a helmet or goggles!
