3/7: Clearing early.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 3/7: We saw another couple inches of snow overnight but definitely came in second to areas east of the divide as the pattern turned upslope. This morning we have some lingering remnants hugging the higher terrain but these will clear early leaving us with mostly sunny conditions. Temperatures will remain on the cool side with just light winds so get outside and have some fun.
Temperatures: Lows dropped to 7 for CB but held to 18 for Gunni. Highs will hold to 36 for CB and 42 for Gunni. Lows tonight will likely straddle 10 degrees.
Outlook: The big looping trough currently splitting the area pinches off a closed low that will move back to the southwest through Sunday. This will get flushed out by high pressure from the northwest through Tuesday which sounds more variable than it is with just gusting winds challenging blue skies. We are headed back into high pressure city so keep the sunscreen handy.
