3/11: Slightly cooler but more of the same.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 3/11: We continue to sit on the edge of the northwest flow dumping down the other side of the divide with the proximity stirring up gusting winds and some scattered cloud cover. Look for the winds to build into the afternoon with a weak cold front grazing the area and bringing highs down slightly but we will still stay above normal with no real variables.
Temperatures: Lows were warmer with the winds at 25 for CB and 30 for Gunni. Highs will top out at 41 for CB and 48 for Gunni. Lows tonight should be cooler but will depend on the wind.
Outlook: The cold front will be past us Thursday and western high pressure remains our dominant weather feature. Expect daily build up of winds with just some scattered pockets of cloud cover blowing through to compete with blue skies. Temperatures remain well above normal and it will be beautiful through the weekend if you’re into mild spring conditions.
