Snow hits the West Elks April 16 POW

That snow we talked about before the weekend delivered.  The Irwin Media House reported 2.5′ on their deck.  The snow was heavy and deep, a lot of in the valleys was on bare ground.  However, the Anthracites were skiing sick!  With a report from Alex Reidman on Sunday that it was blower, a few of us went out on Monday.  With some sluff action on the slopes that received a little more wind deposition (NW, N), the snow was very manageable.  Alex Fenlon and Sydney Dickinson were also out getting some and shared some photos with us.  Today is probably the last day you will get powder, with the high at 50 degrees today we will be back to managing corn pretty soon.  Get some!
