Breaking: CBMR Extends Ski Season, Changes Hours

In a surprise move, Crested Butte Mountain Resort announced that it would be extending the 2016 ski season, with the new closing day scheduled for Sunday, April 24th. CBAC forecaster Evan Ross investigates the recent slide on Schuykill than ran 1000 feet and resulted in a partial burial. Stupid dust. According to the CBAC Facebook, there was another large skier triggered avalanche from the persistent layer in the Climax Chutes. Careful out there.
