5/4: Changes into the afternoon.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 5/4: A sunny start will see changes through the day with a system passing to our south and east. Look for high clouds building after noon with scattered showers in the mix through the afternoon with gusting winds. Temperatures warm with a surge from the south so this will likely remain rain everywhere but the peaks and moisture is scattered and limited so nothing impressive.
Temperatures: Lows dropped to 26 for Gunnison and 21 for Crested Butte. Highs will pop to 63 for Gunni and 54 for CB ahead of the cloud cover. Lows tonight will be warm hovering near freezing.
Outlook: We are seeing a strong system headed our way from the northwest with a mild surge Sunday with very windy conditions. This changes into Monday as this next round blows in with a cold front exchanging above normal temps for significantly colder ones. Moisture will be limited and hit or miss with yet another upsloping system that will favor the north leaving us will a mix through Tuesday. Expect periods of rain and snow but also sun.
