Tanner Perkins is a bad man. Well, a bad 16 year-old, but you’ll understand. He is probably one of the best raw talents in Crested Butte and has been leading the race program on the Crested Butte Mountain Sports team under the guidance of the alpine head coach, Conor Lynch. They are over in Vail […]
This Polaris RZR is a bad ass vehicle. RJ Anderson is a bad ass driver on a crazy custom course at Mt. Baker, Washington. We don’t have a lot to say about this video. It speaks for itself.
Photo: Meg Smith Design World, meet Jakub Nemec. Originally hailing from Pilsen, Czech Republic, the twenty four year old Crested Butte resident is one of the best kayakers in the world. Jakub kayaks for Sweet Protection, Pyrahna Kayaks, Werner Paddles, and Astral Buoyancy Company. Jakub recently got 6th in the Teva Games and is on […]
The U.S. Nordic Ski Team is in Falun, Sweden for the 2015 World Championships. They made sure to have some fun first though. Which do you like more? This rendition of Uptown Funk, or the Crested Butte Nordic Team’s version of Every Time We Touch?
British snowboarder Billy Morgan recently landed the first backside quadruple cork. Ridiculous.

No […]
Non-Native is out with another rad summer edit. They hosted the first annual Non-Native Formal and went camping up Slate River valley and found some snow. They threw down a bunch of sweet jibs and Derek Johnson went for a speed fly and landed in the party! Sights & Sounds of the Upper Slate River […]
Once again, the West Basin of Taos delivered for the Freeride World Qualifier. Crested Butte and Gunnison were well represented, with a number of podiums and even more top ten finishes. Check out this video put together by the good folks at Taos.
The Sour Steezle crew enjoy all the living here has to offer. Including the wide open streets of Gunnison, CO. We are getting some much needed moisture now but temps will be back to the 60’s this week. Enjoy. Sliding Sour’s Streets from Mike Curran on Vimeo.
One of the best shows in freeride went down on Monday, the Freeride World Tour at Haines. After mediocre snow conditions and sketchy stuff at some of the previous events, the FWT Haines event went off quite nicely with Ryland Bell taking the snowboard men’s, Logan Pehota the Ski Men, Anne-Flore Marxer the Snowboard Women, […]
