The Western State Colorado University Mountain Sports Team has been getting after it. Check out this edit put together by student Andrew Arnold.
Well, this is definitely the best edit from the summer without snow. Jimbo is back with another installment of summer skiing around Crested Butte, complete with the Devil’s Punch Bowls send you might have seen a photo of earlier this summer. Oh, and the avy conditions were definitely safe. Thank you, Non-Native, for keeping skiing serious. […]
With Colorado going through (another) dry early season, the West Elk Project boys were getting antsy. Grand Targhee Resort, Wyoming, on the other hand, had received two feet in late November and were forecasted to receive two more. Natalie Segal laid down a great run at the Roldal Freeride Challenge recently, and her Norwegian commentator thought so as well. We’ll let this speak for itself, maybe we should bring this guy over here for more work?
Roost the Butte took over the Gold Link area this weekend. It was quite the show. If you missed it, here are the highlights from Two Plank Productions. Roost the Butte: Day 1 – Hill Cross and more! from Info Twoplank on Vimeo. Roost The Butte: Day 2 Highlights from Info Twoplank on Vimeo.
This March was one of the warmest Marches on record for Crested Butte. At least we weren’t alone. So much for miracle March. In good news, we finally got some precipitation in the form of rain. We need more or we’re in serious trouble this summer.
Like a lot of people that day, Edward Dujardin and Eliot Rosenberg headed to the Anthracites to take advantage of what they thought would be a few inches. They were pleasantly surprised to find 20 inches of the coldest smoke. Check out our recent photo gallery as well. anthracitesdec15 from West Elk Project on Vimeo.
