This edit from Sawyer Thomas is hard-charging and showcases some dang good skiing. You’ll see a lot of classic lines from the Jackson area get annihilated and he visits Canada, Montana, and Southern Utah as well. Get stoked for winter!

Usually, Salomon Freeski TV episodes feature deep powder, mouth watering lines, and a helicopter. This time around, Mike Douglas and company went to Greenland with glaciologist Alun Hubbard to take a different approach. Overall, it’s a well done project that shows the magnitude of the global climate crisis and its impact on our world.
The Non-Native crew had their winter hype party this past weekend, where they premiered their 2016 short and partied down to benefit the Crested Butte Avalanche Center. The dance party was for the snow gods, hopefully the snow starts flying soon and we all can start playing. Creature Features from Non-Native on Vimeo.
Fantastic little video on longtime Gothic local billy barr, who has observed and recorded snow totals there for decades. This short film, titled The Snow Guardian by Day’s Edge Productions, won 2nd place at the Connect4Climate film competition. The Snow Guardian from Day’s Edge Productions on Vimeo.

Sean Pettit just dropped one of the best backcountry edits we’ve ever seen. Have a watch, and get stoked for winter.
