4/30: Increasing in the afternoon.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 4/30: A few high clouds and sunny skies will be the trend early today but regional radar is showing one rogue cell that could offer some weather on the divide midmorning before clearing again. After that we should see a window through early afternoon before some clouds build with increasing chance at isolated thundershowers into the late afternoon and evening.
Temperatures: Lows were warmer at 28 for Gunni but still dropped to 21 for CB. Highs will reach 49 for CB and 57 for Gunni. Lows tonight will be warmer with more clouds.
Outlook: We remain in the slot between the southern stream of moisture and this trough in the northwest right on the edge of the moisture. This will create conditions a lot like we have been seeing through Friday with spotty sun but also chance moisture producing snow showers early and then a mix later in the day. A ridge will set up for the weekend allowing temperatures to rebound during the days with just very isolated pockets of mixed precipitation early and thundershowers in the afternoons.
