CBAC 10th Anniversary Avalanche Awareness Night

The Crested Butte Avalanche Center is hosting their 10th annual Avalanche Awareness Night at the Crested Butte Center for the Arts December 14th. Doors open at 5:00pm and the show starts around 5:30ish…

The night will review the Crested Butte Avalanches Center’s mission and goals for the upcoming winter avalanche season. The CBAC board and forecasters will review in full detail the work that goes into local forecasting and how to utilize the website for better backcountry avalanche awareness. CBAC will review the levels of danger and how to read the report.

There will be a raffle, cheap pizza and beer along with an after party at Montanya’s Distillery. Come on out for the 10th anniversary CBAC Avalanche Awareness night. Support those who are trying to make all our backcountry travel safer!
