Yesterday, on what was supposed to be the morning of the Freeride World Tour stop at Snowbird, a large avalanche ripped out during patrol’s control work. Downhill mountain biker Aaron Gwin pulled off an extraordinary feat today at the Leogang World Cup Downhill Race in Austria. The American broke his chain moments after departing the start gate, and still managed to take first place by nearly a half second. Amazing riding.
