Crested Butte Mountain Resort played host to an IFSA junior regional freeride competition on Saturday under a mix of cloudy skies and flat light. Mikey Curran has been putting together some awesome local content, not to mention his job for MSP Films, for more than the last few years. He got after it with local all-around great guy, Ryan Sullivan, to make this cool, woodsy-feel edit of mountain biking in CB. Check it out! FALL FLOW from Mikey Curran on Vimeo.
Freeskier Jonnie Merrill spent this past winter up in Revelstoke. His 2017 edit is nuts, with huge hit after huge hit. Enjoy. Revy Dreaming from jonnie merrill on Vimeo.

If this headline doesn’t grind your gears, it should. We reported back in early September that WSCU student-athlete Dave Sugnet had been selected to the US Collegiate Freeskiing Team (USCFST). Now, we received word the USCFST recently contacted Dave to tell him that he was, in fact, not on the team. This goes completely against […]
Raphael Pease was out enjoying a perfect blue bird powder day in Chile, when he came across a stranded horse (that had been out in the storm for 4 days). Instead of continuing on his way, Pease did something, and has a pretty awesome tale from the Andes as a result.

WSCU Junior Zach Bare has quickly grown into one of the best snowboarders in the valley in his two years at Western. This year, the Rifle, Colorado native had an outstanding year on the competition circuit, tying for 1st place overall on the Americas Freeride World Qualifier series. Unfortunately, the Freeride World Tour only takes one male […]
Max Parrot stomped the world’s first switch quadruple underflip (1620) at Whistler. Try not to let your jaw hit the ground.
Kiwi Sam Smoothy laid down this run to take 1st at the Freeride World Tour in the men’s freeski category today at Andorra. Considering the low tide and relatively firm snowpack, this line is super creative and definitely took some guts. Check out this run! Colin Pickett and I have now covered over 2,500 miles since we left CB 17 days ago on our British Columbian adventure and we just finally made it to Whistler. Along the way we stopped to ride and party with canucks in Fernie, Invermere Golden, Revelstoke and Kamloops. It has been one hell of an […]
The Freeride World Tour is taking advantage of a good weather window to re-stage the Hakuba stop, which was postponed due to the ridiculous snowfall in Japan. Tomorrow, athletes will be competing on Truth or Dare, and it’s looking good. Check out the Male’s Highlight video from today. We look forward to the women’s edit.
