Big props to Whistler Blackcomb for their upcoming series, The Big Picture, which “takes a big picture look at the future of skiing & snowboarding in a four-part documentary series exploring climate change, backcountry access, the state of the industry, and the risks of losing kids to technology.”
Discrete Headwear founder Julian Carr is a successful businessman and a ripping skier. He also happens to throw the biggest front flips in skiing. Check out this science incorporated self edit from his adventures in Japan, Europe, Canada, and his home stomping grounds of Utah.

Romain Marandet, with help from the EnchoRage crew, has successfully jumped the Tour de France. Awesome stuff.
Wear you beacon and remember to always go through your gear check list when traveling in the backcountry.
Isaac Freeland is an animal. The Salomon young gun, formerly from Tahoe, is now skiing Snowbird while attending the University of Utah. Apparently he’s gotten to know the place pretty well. Filmed by Jonnie Merrill (who is no slouch either). Isaac is in front. Make sure you see the monstrous double back flip at the […]

Francesca Pavillard Cain dropped her season edit. The Crested Butte native and Western grad has turned into a force on the Freeride World Tour. Looking forward to watching her next season! season edit from Francesca Pavillard-Cain on Vimeo.
Dustin Eldridge put together a pretty fantastic season edit from this past snowboard season. The WSCU freerider spent a ton of time in the backcountry, and it shows in his composure. The edit, which includes an awesome homage to the Axtel’s Green Lake, is capped off by an excellently stomped mandatory air line. Impressive stuff.
Freeski stud Sean Pettit was crushing this year before tearing his ACL. Make sure you see the huge natural cork 7 at :55 and the monstrous 360 off a cliff to close out the edit. We look forward to seeing him healthy again. SEAN PETTIT | Ski Part 2017 from Midnight Moon Media on Vimeo.
