9/5: A lot like yesterday.
TV10 Crested Butte and Gunnison Valley Daily Weather Update- For 9/5: We are seeing a slight increase in available moisture but today will look a lot like yesterday with some high clouds early giving way to slow convective build up into the afternoon. Scattered thundershowers will be possible but these will remain scattered and hit or miss. Expect light drainage winds with the heat of the day keeping everything moving.
Temperatures: Lows dropped to 35 for CB and 41 for Gunni. Highs will reach 80 for Gunni and 77 for CB. Lows tonight will climb another degree.
Outlook: Models are backing away from the previous predictions of a significant monsoonal surge and thundershowers will build in later Sunday with better cloud coverage and scattered thundershowers Monday but it won’t be the washout initially forecast. Plan on a solid window of sunny skies Sunday and then more spotty sun Monday. Coverage will increase Monday but these will all be hit or miss so just be prepared into the afternoon.
