Stuart Scott Jimmy V Speech

We don’t normally post on sports outside of the outdoor world, but this man deserves it.  After seven years of battling cancer, Stuart Scott passed away this morning.  If you watched ESPN in the last 21 years, chances are Stuart Scott became a small part of your life.  Think about the fact that for seven of those years that you watched him enthusiastically anchor Sportscenter or report from a game, he was fighting cancer.  He reported at the NBA Finals last June, because he loved it and wanted to live his life on his own terms, not the disease’s.  This is his speech this July at the ESPY Awards, where he was presented with the Jimmy V Perseverance Award.
