Make sure you check out the 1st stop of this year’s 2012 Street League DC Pro Tour this weekend on ESPN2. This is the third year of Street League, a project that was the brainchild of reality tv star and pro skater Rob Dyrdek. This weekend’s contest will be held in Kansas City, followed by California and Arizona.
Whether or not you care about skateboarding, the Street League is huge for the progression of action sports in general. Hopefully we’ll start seeing more winter sports following skateboarding’s lead into the mainstream media.
