A 28 year old Bozeman man died after a small avalanche carried him over a rock face on Beehive Peak in Montana.  The victim and party had taken all of the appropriate precautions, but it still ended in fatality.  According to the report, “They had done everything right.  They had reduced their risk as small as you possibly can on this terrain.  The problem is, we can’t bring it down to zero.”
