Mikaela Shiffrin battled to defend her Slalom World Championship at Beaver Creek yesterday. She had made quite a lead only to see it slip away after the top half of the course. As you can see in the video, she turned it on and smoked the end of the course to win by a third of a second. It’s the 19-year old’s second World Championship.
