One of our favorite films, “McConkey”, has been nominated for a Sports Emmy after it’s run on the Starz channel last year.  Local ski film company, MSP Films, put a lot of time, love, and emotion into producing this film with Red Bull Media House. Check out MSP Films’ words on the nomination below, check out the trailer, and if you for some reason haven’t seen this film yet then you should probably go watch it.

“It is with great pleasure today that we announce that “McConkey,” the 2013 documentary from Red Bull Media House and MSP Films, has been selected as an Outstanding Sports Documentary nominee by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.  “McConkey,” which recently aired for an extended time on Starz, has been nominated in this category alongside three other exceptional documentaries.  The nomination is MSP’s fourth Emmy nod and comes just days prior to the sixth anniversary of Shane McConkey’s untimely passing.  The 36th Annual Sports Emmy Awards will be held at the Lincoln Center in New York City on May 5th, 2015.
