It’s really sad to hear of yet more avalanche deaths in the ski world. Freeskiing legend JP Auclair and big mountain line pioneer Andreas Fransson both lost their lives in an avalanche in Chile on Monte San Lorenzo yesterday. You can read more about their passing here. Coincidentally and equally as sad, Eddie Bauer Guide Team member Liz Daley passed away in an avalanche in the Argentine side of Patagonia on Cerro Vespignani. Below are a few videos showing these humans in their element. Our thoughts go out to all the families and friends of those involved. This doesn’t get any easier, folks.
