Introducing the Crested Butte Santa Ski Crawl

cbsantacrawl

This is real and will be awesome.  There will be a Santa Ski Crawl, which is one part record-setting attempt to get the most Santas on a slope at once, and one part pub-crawl, on Saturday, December 14th, 2013.

The Santa Ski Crawl will start on the slopes at the Ice Bar at 2:30. At 3:30, Santas will ski down to Butte 66 in the CBMR base area to carry on the party.  From there, the party will continue in town, first at the Secret Stash, then the Talk of the Town, and it will finish at Kochevar’s.

Iron Orchid Events, the brains behind the Chili and Beer Festival, is putting on this classic-in-the-making event.  Tickets are $25, and they include 5 drink tickets for use at the 5 locations, and a Santa suit (so that’s like getting a free Santa suit for partying). If you don’t have a season pass or lift ticket yet, you can get a $20 lift ticket at CBMR with a Santa suit on (top, bottom, hat, and beard).

You can buy your event ticket and get more information at the CBSantacrawl.com. This is going to be really fun, so we’ll see you out there! Or, you can share this article on Facebook, make sure to tag West Elk Project so we know you did, and you could win 2 event tickets (that’s 2 Santa suits and 10 drinks!) in our drawing on Friday.
