Francesca Pavillard-Cain Verbier Crash POV

Francesca Pavillard-Cain went for quite the tumble at the 20th Anniversary of Xtreme Verbier last weekend, the invite-only finals of the Freeride World Tour.  Unfortunately the fall bumped her down to 5th overall for the season after her success in Haines, but that’s still no easy feat among the best women in the world. We know Francesca is hungry for redemption on the Bec des Rosses! You can watch the full event replay here and select ski women->Francesca in the red menu bar to watch her run from the live feed. Francesca was bucked super hard in her attempt to recover from a backseat landing, the resulting 12 tomahawks were good enough to trigger her avalanche bag.  Luckily, she escaped serious injury and is OK.
