As most people in the community know, the West Elk Project’s own Ed Dujardin broke his femur in a scary crash competing at the Freeride World Qualifier 4-star event at Crystal Mountain, Washington in March, 2016. It was a long road to recovery, and Ed didn’t hold back. You could even say he is skiing better than he was before the crash; this stellar season and spring we’ve had offered him plenty of opportunity to shred the piss out of CBMR and the local backcountry.
