Welcome to our Countdown to Opening Day series. During the 30 days leading up to opening day at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, we will be featuring a clip or edit from winter in the West Elks. This is video 4 of 30.
Watch out for Matt Evans this season. He is arguably the best big mountain skier in Crested Butte, yet he is only 17. This self edit shows his versatility all over the hill. Matt’s not really afraid of much (as exemplified at minute 3:00). Oh, and most of this edit took place when Matt was 15, competing on the Junior Freeskiing Tour. He’s better now.
