The countdown continues on Veteran’s Day (observed) with a video we posted from last year’s closing weekend pond skim at Crested Butte. A former paratrooper, Grand Junction-based athlete and Crested Butte Adaptive Sports Center participant Chris Jefferson successfully crossed the Slush Huck Pond Skim on a monoski last Saturday in front of an ecstatic crowd. You can tell he was having fun the entire way down.
