Chasing Water is a documentary that follows the Colorado River, from it’s source until it runs dry before it reaches the ocean. It has won a number of awards at various festivals, including “Best Short Mountain Film” 2011 Banff Mountain Film Festival (FF). . “Most Inspiring Film” 5 Point FF, Carbondale, CO. “Best Environmental Documentary” Mountain FF, CA. and “Best Environmental Film”, Frozen FF, San Francisco, CA. ” It was produced, shot, directed, and written by Peter McBride.
It will be showing tomorrow evening at the I Bar Ranch in Gunnison, as part of the Gunnison River Festival. The I-Bar is a covered outdoor venue. Attendees are welcome to fish on the Tomichi beforehand. Check out the trailer below.
