CBMR Joins the Powder Alliance

After their highly-touted slash in pass prices earlier this spring, CBMR is adding even more value to your pass in the 2013-14 season by joining the Powder Alliance.

What is the Powder Alliance? Well, twelve ski resorts around the western United States have teamed up to offer season passholder benefits.  Along with your CBMR pass you get 3 free days of skiing at Snowbasin Resort, UT, Sierra-at-Tahoe, CA, Stevens Pass, WA,  Timberline, OR,  Schweitzer, ID, China Peak, CA,  Mountain High, CA, Arizona Snowbowl, AZ, Mt Hood Skibowl, OR, Angel Fire Resort, NM, and Bridger Bowl, MT.  Says Scott Clarkson , VP of Sales & Marketing for Crested Butte, “The Powder Alliance magnifies the value of participating areas and gives winter enthusiasts the variety, flexibility, and affordability to chase magnificent powder at some of the most well-known mountains in the country.  The Powder Alliance is the best value of any group pass product.”

We think this is a great step in the right direction. There are still some holiday black-out dates, and the passes can only be used Sunday-Friday, so Saturdays are also blacked out as well.  But there are also special offers on lodging, buddy passes, rentals, etc.  We really like the idea of tickets at Steves Pass, Schweitzer, Snowbasin, and Bridger Bowl.

So who’s planning the road trip?
