Big Mountain Enduro Goes off in Crested Butte

The Big Mountain Enduro series held it’s 2nd stop in Crested Butte last weekend.  With 6 stages held over 2 days, there was a lot of fun riding showcasing the diverse trails the Evolution Bike Park at Crested Butte Mountain Resort has to offer.

Congrats to the top 5 pro men: 1. Jeremy Horgan-Kobelski (Trek Factory Racing), 2. Nate Hills (Mavic SRAM Yeti), 3. Ross Schnell (Trek POC Bontrager Shimano), 4. Chris Johnston (The Nomads), and 5. Mike West (Yeti/FOX).

Shout out to the top 5 pro women as well: 1. Heather Irmiger (Trek Factory Racing), 2. Krista Park (Cannondale), 3. Jill Behlen (Tokyo Joes), 4. Janae Pritchett (Griggs Orthopedics), and 5. Evelyn Dong (White Pine Touring).

Day 1’s three stages were Luge, Timeline, and then Westside.  You can watch the Day 1 highlight video below.

Day 2’s action took place on Columbine, Frequency, and Avery with a pretty significant pedal transition between stages 4 and 5.  The Day 2 highlight wraps up the action below.
