Gunnison – Crested Butte just put out a promotion featuring one of our favorite snowboarders, the local bad-ass bartender and Freeride World Tour athlete, Mary Boddington. Join Mary as she transitions from fall to winter and rightfully compares horseback riding to big mountain snowboarding in this place affectionately known as Never-Never Land. This 3-minute edit […]
Lindsey Vonn has had a rough go lately, where she’s dealt with gnarly crashes, injuries and Trump supporters. She put it all behind her with a big win today, that should boost her confidence going into the upcoming Olympic games. Your browser does not support iframes.
After closing it’s doors this fall, Voleurz is back for one last edit. These guys have the most fun in skiing (check out their last short film, Kill Your Boredom). It has us wondering if this is the first of multiple comebacks. If that’s the case, we dont care. We will keep watching.
Crested Butte’s own Stevie Kremer won a high altitude trail race this past Sunday in China’s Kunlun Mountains.”I just tried to take my time on the uphill. And then coming down, I thought, just push it. What do you have to lose,” she said after.
Raphael Pease was out enjoying a perfect blue bird powder day in Chile, when he came across a stranded horse (that had been out in the storm for 4 days). Instead of continuing on his way, Pease did something, and has a pretty awesome tale from the Andes as a result.

Here is a quick recap of three peaks and 7000 vertical feet of alpine shred. If you haven’t been getting after it, […]
This March, Red Bull teamed up with Aspen Snowmass to create the Red Bull Double Pipe. Aspen 82 was there to capture the action and make this edit. Pretty cool stuff. Red Bull | Double Pipe | Final from Aspen 82 on Vimeo.
Join Travis Rice, Eric Jackson, Fredi Kalbermatten and Chris Rasman as they shred Eagle Pass, Baldface, and Saas Fee. Filmed and edited by Western State grad Sean Lucey. Road to Holy Bowly Part Three: Dream Trip from Lib Tech on Vimeo.
Here’s a short 3 minute clip discussing the memorable crash at the 2006 Birds of Prey Downhill at Beaver Creek. TJ Lanning was an up-and-coming US star at the time, trying to make up for past injuries, he hit a compression awkwardly and well, you should just watch this crash. Thank goodness for the fencing.
Crested Butte snowboarder Rob Vandervoort joined a crew of Buttians headed for the Subaru Freeride Series at Big Sky. Here is his edit. Unfortunately, Robbie blew his knee after the contest. We look forward to seeing him healthy next year.
