Arne Backstrom was the 2010 Freeskiing World Tour champion, including a win at Revelstoke that year. He passed that same year on June 3rd, 2010 skiing in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru. This memorial edit by Tecnica Blizzard Team Manager Frank Shine has resurfaced as people recently remembered the skier Arne was and the inspiration he still is to many. It showcases a variety of skiing including Arne’s amazing runs from his 2010 win at Revelstoke and a short slide show at the beginning. Take your time to watch this, it’s 9:18 and totally worth it.
