Words and edit by: Gareth Van Dyk | This particular edit was made during a long midsummer day….a solo five hour hike with my DH bike got me up into this beautiful terrain looking down into the town of CB. The descent is a multi-pitch ridge with a no fall zone to the left….unfortunately at the last drop the crosswind hit and down I went into the rocks….dislocating my middle finger in the process and making the rest of my day a little bit of a problem. Getting the finger back in was a whole other story best left untold….
