Big mountains produce big avalanches. Check out this one from Tilicho Lake in Nepal. This one easily crosses the large lake and up the other side of the valley.
Episode three of Red Bull’s Davenport project, Faces of Dav, looks into Chris’s family life. Like all skiers with family (Dav has a wife and three boys), Dav has to find the balance between being the best father he can be at home while pushing the limits while staying alive in the mountains at work.
Robbie Maddison has some cojones. Not only is the final world record drop massive, but there is very impressive riding in the build up. The stats on this final drop are as followed. 71 mph on takeoff. 114 meters/ 374 ft of jump distance. 185 feet of drop, which is a new world record.
