Crested Butte Mountain Resort and Telluride Ski Resort are working together to offer an interchangeable lift ticket pass combo for the 2012-2013 ski season, and dicounted lift tickets for season pass holders at each resort. The pass will be known as the Telluride-Crested Butte Ultimate 6 Pass. The pass is good for three days at Crested Butte and three days at Telluride.
Former CBMR Executive and now Telluride Ski Resort executive Ken Stone comments,“This is a unique opportunity for ski enthusiasts to experience Southwest Colorado skiing at multiple resorts in a single trip. This product allows much easier access to each resort.”
CBMR executive Scott Clarkson details that, “The Telluride–Crested Butte Ultimate 6 Pass is a great value for both destination travelers and skiers and riders in the region, essentially bridging the Elk Mountains and the San Juans. Plus, the Ultimate 6 Pass represents a terrific savings over daily lift tickets. We have also included a 50% discount for each resorts’ season pass holders.”
Season Pass Reciprocity
The folks who have bought a season pass Telluride Ski Resort or a Platinum or Gold Pass to CBMR, can now enjoy 50% discounted lift tickets at the opposite ski area. The pass holders are allowed one ticket per day with blackout dates of 12/27 – 12/31/2012 that apply for the holiday season.
The Telluride-Crested Butte Ultimate 6 Pass is available for $399 at Liftopia.com. The price point is discounted, amounting to $66.50 per day (a 30% discount off regular regular ticket window prices). After the three visits have been used at each resort, you can purchase additional days at a 20% discount for the rest of the season.
Crested Butte Mountain Resort and the Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization (TMRAO) have recently partnered with Allegiant Air for nonstop flights to the Montrose Regional Airport from Oakland International Airport (OAK) and Phoenix-Mesa Airport (AZA), the goal being to bring two new markets to the respective resorts.
