Crested Butte Mountain Resort played host to an IFSA junior regional freeride competition on Saturday under a mix of cloudy skies and flat light. The classic Colorado chalky hard pack snow that we all know and love so well here in the Elk Mountains was ripping and skiers ranging from 12-18 showcased their skills on […]
Mikey Curran has been putting together some awesome local content, not to mention his job for MSP Films, for more than the last few years. He got after it with local all-around great guy, Ryan Sullivan, to make this cool, woodsy-feel edit of mountain biking in CB. Check it out! FALL FLOW from Mikey Curran on Vimeo.
Sam Lee, Neil Williman, Ryan van den Meerendonk, and Ian Borgeson were in town for the Subaru Freeride Series. While that type of skiing is cool, these boys really excel at snowblading. We asked Sam how he can get so radical? He replied, “thats how it is when blading is your life.” Enjoy.
Check out this park edit that Kyle Spaulding put together at the Crested Butte Mountain Resort Cascade and Painter Boy parks with the riding of Dave Sugnet, Taylor Ahearn, Stian Squire, and Brendan Sullivan. Our friend Vanessa Aadland recently returned from the other side of the world. What began as a ski trip with the Soul Ryders crew became a solo cultural exploration through India and Nepal. Her edit from the trip is mostly comprised of lifestyle shots, with no skiing until about four minutes in. Aadland recalls, “It […]
This time of year it is never out of the question to play in both the dirt and snow all in the same day. Yesterday I got to do just that with a handful of CB athletes. I started the morning shooting and riding with Ryan Harter and Knolly Bikes at Hartman Rocks and finished […]

This should jumpstart your morning. As Turkey Reinheardt explains: ” There are two things I like about snowmachining: pinning it wide open, and going real fast.” Turkey Reinheardt is Brett Turcotte’s alter ego, don’t question him.
Alexander Polli, an Italian-Norwegian wingsuit and basejump athlete, recently flew through a tiny hole/arch in the Roca Foradada Mountains in Montserrat, Spain. The feat was impressive enough to make Sportscenter’s top ten plays. His entire flight is phenomenal to watch. Nothing to do with us but very incredible.
Jacob Wester spent a good deal of time in and around Telluride this spring. Check out the pov footage from a 100 foot backflip off of a mining trestle. Wester exhibits incredible control and timing. Well done.
