This Saturday is sure to be a fun one at the base area of Crested Butte Mountain Resort.

Breweries from all over are on hand with their finest brews to take the heat off the chili prepared by Crested Butte locals. In addition to beer & chili tasting, attendees will be able to enjoy live music while taking in the beautiful backdrop of Mt. Crested Butte. The Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce expects to bring well over 1,000 beer enthusiasts to the festival.

Tickets are $25 but buy yours in advance here to be eligible for a year of free beer from Oskar Blues Brewing!

Time: Noon-4pm in the Base Area and Red Lady Stage

Live music from Mine Control (Noon-2pm) & Mama’s Cooking (2-4pm)

Want to enter your chili recipe? Entry into the Cook-Off Contest is FREE, and cook-off participants also receive FREE entry into the Fall Festival of Beers! Here’s how it works.  Cook up 3 gallons of your best stuff in advance. They will provide the table, tent, and serving cups (unless you have your own you that would like to bring). All entries must be received by Thursday, September 8th to be included on the ballots and be eligible for prizes. Please note—contestants won’t have access to electricity so gas burning or Coleman type stoves will be necessary.
